Director of Marketing Communications
We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing Communications. This leadership position is responsible for leading the company’s marketing communications initiatives to create awareness, interest and engagement in MakeMusic’s products and services.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelors degree in marketing, business or communications, a minimum of 10 years managing marketing communications and experience directing and developing a team of marketers. Experience in consumer products and e-marking for K-12 education or consumer software preferred. Candidate must have an understanding of music and musical terms.


Education Sales Territory Manager
Responsible for selling the MakeMusic suite of products within the music education market. This consultative sales role demands high integrity, professionalism, discipline and personal initiative in order to develop relationships and drive revenue. This position requires travel of 20-25%.

Qualified candidates must have proven successful sales experience preferably working within the education market segment. Additional required skills include negotiation, excellent communication (listening, writing and presentation), time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate has the proven sales skills, a passion for education, experience as a musician and/or music instructor, and is able to demonstrate the SmartMusic & Finale basics.


Inside Education Sales Territory Manager
Responsible for selling the MakeMusic suite of products for their assigned territory within the music education market. This consultative sales role demands high integrity, professionalism, discipline and personal initiative in order to develop relationships and drive revenue. This position serves as the liaison between the office and the Education Sales Territory Managers.

Qualified candidates must have proven successful sales experience preferably working within the education market segment. Additional required skills include negotiation, excellent communication (listening, writing and presentation), time management, customer service, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate has the proven sales skills, a passion for education, experience as a musician and/or music instructor.
